Paying glowing tribute to Kumar they said he worked whole life for the betterment of working class and served in Yateem Trust Handwara after retirement till his death. They also recalled his contribution to welfare of working class and prayed for peace of departed soul and courage to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Others who paid tribute to departed soul included senior trade union leaders D N Sadhu, comrade Baldave Raj Sharma, Sheikh Gh. Mohidudin Shilwati.
