RKFC defeats J&K Bank by 1-0

SRINAGAR, May 30: Real Kashmir FC’s reserve team edged past J&K Bank with a narrow 1-0 victory in the ongoing Srinagar Premier Football League 2024-25 at the TRC Ground here today.
Both teams started the match strongly, showcasing skillful play that kept fans engaged. The first half ended goalless, despite RKFC dominating possession. The deadlock continued into the second half as J&K Bank’s defence held firm against repeated RKFC attacks.
The breakthrough came during extra time when RKFC’s Huzaif scored the decisive goal, sparking celebrations among the home supporters. This victory marked a rare defeat for J&K Bank, a team known for its strong record in Kashmir football.
With this win, RKFC extended their unbeaten run, having won both matches played so far. The team, which finished third in the recent I-League, continues to demonstrate their growing prominence in Indian football.
